Pontotoc County officials meet in regular session at Ada January 3 1910 to open Cochran Street and Cocton Lane as public highways. G M Short is elected chairman and R E Hatcher appointed trustee and assessor of Maxwell Township. Warranted salaries for county officers are approved and listed, with several adjustments and disallowed taxes noted. A land strip contract with F N Bank Ada and a right of way agreement with Frisco railroad are approved. Meeting adjourned to January 17 1910.
The Odd Fellows installed their recently elected officers at their meeting last month. These were P. G. Ingram, N. G., W. B. Ganey, W. G., C. M. Chauncey, Secretary, J. B. Gotcher, Treasurer. This is the ninth consecutive year for Mr. Chauncey as secretary of the Ada lodge.
In Pontotoc County Court a petition by J B Gray for letters of administration on the estate of D T Gray deceased is set for February 5 1910 at 10 a m. Notice by three weeks Ada Democrat Ada Oklahoma and by mail to heirs as required. A system regulator advert follows.
