Triplet daughters gifted with land in Ada county
Ada News reports Dr Castleberry in Ada Texas receiving news from Mrs John Nankin of tiaskell county that triplet girls were born. Neighbors presented each girl with one thousand dollars and 160 acre tracts to settle as heirs in fee simple at age twenty. Fort Worth Record notes 14 year old Harry McWnorter of Ada Okla taken into county custody after appearing intoxicated on Main street. He says a stranger forced whiskey down him. jailed until healthy and able to care for himself.

Council approves paving ordinance for several streets
At Monday's meeting the council passed a paving ordinance requiring Main Street from the Frisco to the Katy railroad Townsend from 12th to the Frisco and Broadway from 12th to the Frisco. The plan calls five inches of concrete base and two inches of wear surface. On Tuesday the council approved the engineer's plans and will open bids January 7.

Shooting at the post office ends with arrest and bond
At about seven PM in a post office a dispute between B C King and J W Bowling escalated when King knocked Bowling down. Bowling drew a gun and fired but the bullet glanced off a pocket case. Bowling was seized and jailed. he posted bond for $1000 to await a preliminary hearing scheduled for the 16th.
