Marshall police took a report of an assault in the 700 block of W Michigan Ave around 8 50 a m on Sept 9. A 28 year old male victim said a 19 year old male attacked him after a dispute over a cigarette case, placing him in a head lock and punching and kicking him, resulting in minor injuries.
