Enbridge Donates 2500 To Junior Achievement Southwest Michigan
Enbridge representatives Brian Buck and Lara Hamsher presented JA of Southwest Michigan president Tom VanderMelen a 2500 donation to support the It’s My Future program in Calhoun County schools. JA funds career mapping, branding and job hunting skills for students from kindergarten through high school, delivered by volunteers nationwide.

Mar Lee School joins ArtPrize with R E F U S E exhibit
Mar Lee School in Michigan earns a place at the 2017 ArtPrize in Grand Rapids with a large student driven installation titled R E F U S E. Fourth through eighth graders collaborated with art teacher Michele MacInnes to create hundreds of origami cranes and butterflies from recycled paper. The piece hangs along a spiraling path centering on the Earth, symbolizing renewal and longevity, and is eligible for a Youth Collaboration award funded by Western Michigan University with a $5000 prize for the winning institution.
