City backs 911 funding by calls for service option
Marshall City Council approved a resolution supporting a funding option for the 911 Calhoun County dispatch future funding after 2013. The plan bases each municipality’s share on 911 call volume. The vote was unanimous and sent to the CCCDA board for consideration. Dennis LaPoint retires after 38 years with Olivet Fire Department with a reception set for Oct. 24 at Olivet High School cafeteria.
