Gabriel Gates, Marshall High School graduate, releases the second Tracks novel The Sleepwalkers and hosts a book signing at Marshall District Library on Tuesday Oct 25 at 3 p.m. He gives the Chronicle permission to print opening chapter details as a teaser. The excerpt follows two sisters in a dreamlike chase through ruins and a tense, eerie house sequence as a boy recalls a nightmare and senses unseen movement in the dark.
