Charles P. Dibble Pioneer Marshallite and First Mayor
Charles P. Dibble (1815–1884) helped found Marshall in 1836, built the Dibble Block, ran a dry goods and hardware business, and became Marshall's first mayor in 1859. He served 30 years on the school board, held multiple local offices, and supported regional enterprises and the church. His death saw family gifts to Trinity Church including chancel windows and oak chairs.
