MACS continues the Christmas program with pickups on Thursday December 16. Harriet urges donations and volunteer presence to bring the program to life, noting Marshall as the City of Hospitality. The 23rd annual Dream Dollar raffle near Marshall offers a $15,000 cash prize with only 500 tickets sold. Local residents share how they would spend or donate winnings. The next drawing is Monday October 25 at the Marshall Activity Center, 6 to 7:15 pm, doors at 5:30. Tickets are $100 and accepted via cash, checks or major cards.
Olivet Community Schools invites K-12 families and the public to Math Night on October 28 at Olivet Middle School from 5 30 to 8 00 pm. Attendees learn math concepts through games from 6 to 7 pm while enjoying a taco dinner 5 30 to 6 30. Speakers include Jeremy Wine Enhbridge Rod Sadler Jean Hudson Elizabeth Gehrig Dave Campbell and Jason Lily. Attendees should RSVP to Kristina Priesman with party size childcare needs and top two speaker interests.
