Se Marshall Rec Basketball Clinic Registrations Open
Marshall Rec accepts youth basketball clinic registrations for grades 3 through 6. Boys clinics run by MHS varsity coach Dent and staff meet Saturdays December 8 and 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at Marshall High School gym. girls clinics run by Coach Konkle and staff meet at Walters Elementary School gym. Fee is 15 dollars for city taxpayers and 20 dollars for others, with a 5 dollar early registration discount ending November 30 at 5 p.m.

Library hours for Thanksgiving holiday observed
The Marshall District Library will close Thursday November 22 and Friday November 23 for Thanksgiving. It opens as usual Saturday November 24. Located at 124 West Green Street, the library is tax supported by Eckford, Fredonia, Marshall and Marengo Townships, and the City of Marshall. Marshall Retail Open House invites local musicians
The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce seeks local vocal and instrumental groups to perform sidewalk entertainment during the annual Retail Open House on Friday, November 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Marshall with performances from 6 to 7 p.m. or 7 to 8 p.m. A $3 Chamber Bucks donation will be given to participating groups.
