Marshall Police Department partners with Calhoun County Substance Abuse Council to operate a Red Med Box. The program lets residents safely dispose of expired meds to prevent water system pollution. Box is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 30 p.m. for residential use only and complies with strict regulations.
Marshall Community Credit Union employees raised 950 for Marshall United Way with 700 from staff and 250 in matching funds. Patty Franke of Marshall United Way accepts donations for the Red Med Box program that helps remove medications from homes anonymously to reduce misuse and assist police in keeping drugs out of hands of those not intended for.
