Duck Lake stocking with walleyes announced by DLA
The Duck Lake Association plans to stock 1000 walleyes of six to eight inches this fall to sustain the lake population citing lack of spawning habitat. Total funding $2200 comes from the DLA, donors, and Duck's Point store proceeds with thanks to former and current store owners for collecting donations. Walleyes purchased from Laggis Fish Farm Inc. in Gables and the group notes prior stockings were in 2016 and 2007.
