Russ Mawby leaves legacy of humility and impact
Russ Mawby, longtime Kellogg Foundation leader and Battle Creek philanthropist, died Oct 20 at 89 in Kalamazoo. A farm boy at heart, he built a global charity footprint as a catalyst who connected people, led youth philanthropy, and helped found the Battle Creek Community Foundation. His work focused on empowering youth and serving communities through endowment driven giving.
