National award winning illustrator visits Marshall schools
Michael Monroe, an acclaimed illustrator of more than 15 children's books including M is for Mitten, spoke at Walters Elementary School in two assemblies for Marshall Public School third and fourth graders. The visit, funded by the Franke Education Enrichment Scholarship, emphasized social studies and art integration. Audience members then created projects inspired by the presentation.
