Letter carriers invite residents to participate on Saturday May 11 in Marshall. The National Association of Letter Carriers and Campbell Soup Company urge people to leave a sturdy bag of non perishables such as canned soup for pickup.
Betty Miller to be honored with an open house on Saturday May 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church 500 Cosmopolitan Avenue Marshall. Cake and punch provided. please no gifts. Postal donations of nonperishable foods are requested for the Stamp Out Hunger drive benefiting Feeding America.
The Albion District Library hosts a Brown Bag film on Wednesday May 15 at 12 15 p m. Patrons may bring lunch while the library provides coffee and cookies. The feature Ultimate Africa Botswana Zambia and Zimbabwe follows Albion residents Pat Tomasik Sharon Gray and Carol Guich telling of their African adventures with elephants in Chobe Hwange Victoria Falls and safari drives.
