Durham Park Committee invites residents and families to an upcoming Sunday evening concert series in Durham Park Tekonsha. The event features Tekonsha Middle and High School bands under Kathleen Warriner with performances in May and ongoing in the summer, encouraging community attendance.
The Tekonsha Durham Park Festival features the St Joe River Boys gospel quartet, belly dancers, and an ice cream social. Local businesses Ward's Pizzeria and Waid's will supply food while the Tekonsha Historical Society opens. Activities include a bouncy house, climbing wall, a fish pond, and a lemon ade stand by Peggy Hampton.
Albion May 7 program at Leila Arboretum Horticultural Training Center features Dennis Woodland and Dave Wendling on Michigan Ferns and garden habitat. CCMGA meeting at 6:30 with $4 admission, free for members. Tekonsha Fire Dept grills sandwiches for Sunday supper. August music by Shapows. Tekonsha and County Line Band connections. Shining Suns perform in September gospel night. Durham Park Committee to provide popcorn and sodas.
