Calhoun County residents are invited to the sixth annual Recy clerama on Saturday April 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bailey Park Battle Creek. The event features drop off stations for hazardous waste and recyclables with an emphasis on reducing landfill waste and environmental protection.

NAMI offers free 11 week mental health course

The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Calhoun County presents a free 11 week recovery course for anyone with a mental condition. Taught by teams of three peer mentors, the program combines lectures and group work to promote awareness and coping strategies.
