Albion Recreation Department lists writer and open mic workshops with Roger Bonair-Agard for ages 16 to 21, water aerobics, open gym for youth and adults, and open walk at Marshall Opportunity High School. Fight Hunger Give Hope campaign starts March 13
Calhoun County residents face food insecurity as one in six households and one in four children struggle to feed themselves. Folk Oil and PS Food Mart launch the 8th annual Fight Hunger Give Hope drive March 13 to 26 to raise funds for the Food Bank of South Central Michigan and local programs. Customers can donate $1 or $5 by tearing a square, with proceeds supporting backpack programs and pantries. last year the effort raised over $86,000.
