Marshall students begin 20th Alaska trip
Dozens of parents and 75 Marshall Middle School travelers, students and leaders, depart for Alaska on a three-week Alaska Great Lakes Project expedition begun after the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill. They fly from Chicago to Anchorage, will visit Denali, Grizzly Bear Campground, Mt. Healy, Midnight Sun Run, and a whale watching trip before returning July 9.
