Four Armed Suspects In Home Invasion In Albion
Albion Department of Public Safety is investigating a home invasion on Mechanic Street at about 4:30 a.m. June 6. Four armed suspects demanded money, fled after an officer arrived, one shot fired, a resident treated for head injuries, two adults assaulted, child unharmed. A suspect was chased and captured nearby with a handgun recovered. Police seek three remaining suspects and ask for tips to Silent Observer or Det. Wygant.

A 23-year-old complainant said her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend became belligerent over child visitation, with neighbors hearing profanity. Domestic assault charges sought in Marshall double report
Marshall Police were called to the 200 block of West Drive around 10 p.m. for a domestic assault. A 29-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man presented opposite claims with no visible injuries. They were separated for the night and DA charges were sought.

Accident leads to marijuana charges in Marshall
On June 3 around 12 a.m. Marshall Po were dispatched to an accident on W Michigan Ave. A 21-year-old driver and witnesses said the driver fell asleep and hit a utility pole. The driver was not injured and drugs did not appear to be a factor. During the investigation officers learned the driver had attempted to hide suspected marijuana and located the substance. The driver was interviewed and charged with marijuana possession.
