Greening of Marshall tree planting spans years and grants
The Marshall Area Conservation Committee hosted a May 5 tree planting with 35 volunteers planting 40 new trees and maintaining over 1100 prior plantings since 2003. MACC credits community support and grants from the Marshall Community Foundation and TRIM totaling $7,000 to expand its urban forest efforts.
