KCC and MSU launch Agricultural Operations Program
Kaitlyn Fraser of Coldwater has been hired as coordinator for Kellogg Community College and Michigan State University partnership. The program, launching this fall, lets students earn an Associate in General Studies and an Agricultural Operations Certificate through MSU with coursework at KCC. Fraser outlines recruitment, advising, course planning, and an emphasis on a required summer internship to boost career networks in crop and soil science, farm management, operations, and safety. Fraser grew up on a Quincy area crop farm and remains active in agriculture and FFA, earning an MSU degree in 2012 and pursuing a master’s in Illinois. Registration for fall classes is open, with contact info for Fraser and the program website.
