Marshall City Council approved a Trash Brush and Leaf Collection millage on the November ballot after public complaints. Voters will decide on a $25 annual tax based on a $100,000 home for pickup services. The council earlier balanced the budget by cutting $100,000 in city pickups.
The Marshall City Council met on Saturday July 14 for the initial of three work sessions regarding the Oaklawn Hospital Campus Overlay District. Presentations covered expansion needs and opposition to the plan. The next session is set for Monday June 23 at 6 p.m. at the Public Services Building.
