The Relay for Life event in Calhoun County East runs July 21 and 22 at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds from 3 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday. Since 1997 the event has grown from seven teams to 33 teams this year, with last year raising $127,384.74 and current funds toward a $135,000 goal.
