MPS Board OKs General Fund Budget for 2017 18 19
Marshall Public Schools board approved the general fund and food service budgets for 2017 18 and 2018 19. The 2017 18 revenue was about 32.3 million with expenditures near 32.6 million, dipping the fund balance to 3.12 million. For 2018 19 revenues are forecast to fall nearly 2 million, requiring a 1.5 million draw on the fund balance.
