DeShon leads Albion Chamber amid upbeat plans
Amy DeShon, new president and CEO of the Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce, aims to boost tourism and downtown business. The group promotes events such as Festival of the Forks and the Corrugated Cardboard Classic Sled Race at Victory Park, with about $20,000 for promotions. DeShon, a Kalamazoo native with a public administration master’s, says Albion is on the uptick and emphasizes civic‑mocused shops and regional connections.
