Cal-Co Quilters Guild Donates 739 Quilts in 2015
Cal-Co Quilters Guild donated more than 739 quilts in 2015 with all fabric batting and sewing donated by members. Quilts went to S.A.F.E. Place In Battle Creek Inasmuch House Haven of Rest Ministries Community Unlimited and other local shelters serving domestic violence victims and families. Co-chairs are Shirley Fuller and Irene Gilbert. The guild promotes traditional and contemporary quilting while welcoming new members at $25 yearly. next meeting Feb 8 at 6 pm at Lakeview Baptist Church Battle Creek. visitors $5.

Olivet College Visual Arts invites the community to a January 21 to February 12 exhibition of John Felsing’s collective works at the Kresge Gallery in Riethmiller Blackman Art Building. During January the Calhoun County Public Health Department offers one free short term radon test kit per home. Kits are available at the Environmental Health Office in Battle Creek with hours 7 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Call 269-969-6341 for details.
