Marshall city considers bond options for new public safety building
At the Jan 3 work session Marshall City Council reviewed funding options for a public safety building. A 36,000 square foot facility near Industrial Rd and Kalamazoo Ave is planned with a 6.6 million concept including demolition and land purchase. The council discussed leasing space, EMS ambulance authority rental, and millage details to limit tax impact, aiming for a 2012 start and 2013 completion.
