Death Investigated in Springfield City Welfare Check
Calhoun County deputies found a 54 year old woman dead during a welfare check at 1267 Avenue A in Springfield. A person of interest, 57, from Battle Creek, led to a pursuit and arrest on unrelated charges. Detectives treat the death as suspicious awaiting medical examiner results.
