Bells return as Oaklawn Birth Center marks 100th anniversary
Oaklawn celebrated the return of its Birth Center bells after more than a decade. The reactivation followed Augusts Birdies for Babies golf event at The Medalist that raised nearly $100,000, enabling a new system. The bells greet families at discharge, signaling a safe, memorable sendoff for about 600 mothers yearly.
