Dryer Returns as Marshall Football Head Coach After Long Tenure
Bill Dryer, longtime Marshall High School football figure and seven year absence from sideline duties, is back as head varsity coach. A former defensive backs trainer and longtime assistant, Dryer credits mentor Rich Hulkow for shaping his view and notes how coaching from the press box offers a different pace. He played key roles in Marshall’s 1996 and 2009 state title eras and emphasizes offense over defense as his preferred side.
