Community Music School Offers Broad Fall Classes
Community Music School opens registrations for fall classes from infancy to adulthood at Trinity Episcopal Church Marshall. Programs include Music First for ages 0 to 5, Children’s Choir for grades 2-8, Woodwind Ensemble for high schoolers, and Piano Together for grades 1-2 and adults. Semester runs Sept 6 to Dec 16 with 10 percent first-semester discount and need-based aid. locations in Hastings and Battle Creek as part of The Music Center. Marshall Middle students return from Italy trip
Marshall Middle School seventh and eighth graders joined by 13 students and chaperones traveled nine days in Italy in June with EF Tour Company. They started in Paris and Milan then Venice visiting glass blowing and laceMaking workshops and enjoyed a gondola ride. In Florence they saw leather crafts and the Piazza della Signoria. Rome included the Colosseum Vatican Basilica and Sistine Chapel with optional Pompeii and Siena excursions.
