Marshall City Council weighs road funding over luxuries
Marshall officials debate funding road repairs, with Director Fedders stating $60,000 can fix about 975 feet and $30,000 on Sycamore St. could extend life 15 to 20 years. A October road report is expected to push for an additional $100,000. Council also discusses Traver’s resignation after selling his Ward 4 home, a lease extension for the J.H. Cronin Building, and an overnight parking ordinance, plus extending the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act moratorium to limit caregivers and curb large commercial activity.
