Albion Elks August Happenings
Albion Elks schedule August events with two Texas Hold-ems at Trippers in Lansing and a Bee ate Thursday through Sunday from noon to 2 am. Golf League runs Tuesday dates August 6 13 20 27 ending August 27 with a fall funday and league championship setup. Friday dinner planned August 16 includes BBQ ribs baked beans and sides.

Olivet College and Holt Public Schools form education partnership
Olivet College and Holt Public Schools will offer college credits to Holt High School students for courses taken at the high school. Credits may transfer to Olivet if the student pursues further study, with no cost to participants. The collaboration aims to boost college going culture among Holt seniors and provide tuition savings for families. The pair signed the agreement Aug. 2 in Holt.
