City adopts Neighborhood Improvement Authority plans in Marshall
At a public hearing on April 15 the Marshall City Council approved the Northeast Neighborhood Improvement Authority development and tax increment financing plans. The NNIA aims to back residential led redevelopment of the Golden Rule Oaklawn site with public improvements funded via tax capture while not raising property taxes. NNIA board chair Richard Lindsey voiced hospital support and residents urged broader information access on the plan.
