Noxious Weed Ordinance Heads To May Vote
The Marshall City Council held a public hearing on the Nuisances Ordi nance also called the noxious weed ordinance due to a publicity issue from a prior hearing. City Attorney Paul Beardslee cited procedural gaps and the council requested language changes before action. The ordinance would prohibit weeds over eight inches and allow the enforcement officer to remove violators’ vegetation at cost.
