Project FRESH Expands WIC Offerings in Calhoun County
The Calhoun County Public Health Department runs WIC serving over 5,000 clients with prenatal care and lower infant mortality risks. Project FRESH provides ten two dollar coupons for seasonal produce at local farmers markets, supplements WIC benefits, and boosts farmers’ earnings.
