Acton Council weighs overtime for assessor to meet deadlines
The assessor John Ladouceur may work 16 overtime hours over two weeks to finish reassessments by November 30, with pay tied to his current salary, as council weighs extending the D M A manual deadline amid doubts about meeting the October target. The water and sewer committee considers ending or monetizing Main Street South spring due to $2,000 annual costs, while hydrants will be repainted and coded by the Fire Fighters Association. The fire agreement with surrounding townships is renewed at $1,000 yearly plus maintenance and $100 per fire call, and a sale of a town lot on Church Road North to William Findlay is approved amid bids.
