The first Fall Zone 26 meeting of the Canadian Legion gathered Sunday at Acton Legion Clubrooms with delegates from Acton Brampton Georgetown Milton Port Credit Oakville and Streetsville. President George Munraelle opened the session and Zone Commander Col G Cousens presided Demands of War Veterans and servicemen welfare were discussed including pay medical care and dependents. Comrade Judge Cochrane from Brampton spoke on work for forces and recruitment. Visitors were hosted to light lunches by Acton Legion members.
