Debris Destroys Wall As Car Crashes Into Airdrie Home
Mr and Mrs Jack Airdrie of Crewson's Corners escaped injury when a car backing from a driveway rammed into their home on the day before Thanksgiving. The vehicle damaged the wall and broke through to the living room floor while two passengers hid in fear. Damage to house estimated at 1000 dollars and to the car at 300. The incident marked the third such accident at the same house in about 20 years.

Blaze at Scout Hall Forces School to Move Again
Fire origin unknown damaged attic and two large tents at Scout Hall. Fire Chief and Ontario Fire Marshall to investigate. Earlier in week a separate fire damaged part of the public school forcing Grade Seven classes into temporary quarters. Fire at the Laing home caused extensive damage to rooms and furniture, with the family displaced. Neighbors aided and temporary housing arranged for the children. A Scottish dancing club is forming in Acton.
