Permission for Gas Pipe Line Granted by Township Council
The Tra falgar township council passed a by law giving Western Pipe Lines permission to lay a gas pipe line under all north south township roads. Construction is underway. The by law also allows selling an easement on a township owned lot on the Ninth Line used as a garbage dump for 2500. L W Finch of Trustee Corporation (Canada) Ltd urged amending the building bylaw to require garages or car ports to be at least six feet from the limits of a six foot lot. He will raise the matter with planning consultant. Finch's firm is starting a housing subdivision on the Sixth Line south of Upper Middle Road and hopes to complete 70 or 80 houses by year end.
