Grandchildren Serve as Flower Bearers at Anderson Funeral
Charlotte Sophia Anderson of Eden Mills died September 15 at Guelph General Hospital in her 87th year. The service was at Victor B. Rumley Funeral Home Acton on September 17, with Rev. W. F. Slimn officiating and interment at Eden Mills Cemetery. Surviving children include Sada Gilbertson and Katie Gilbertson of Eden Mills, Ellay Noble of Guelph, William Ro Anderson of Guelph, Elmer Anderson of Toronto, Irene Elliot of Burlington, Norma Wylie of Guelph, and brother Benjamin Wilson of Irricana Alberta. The service featured fifteen grandchildren as flower bearers. She was a longtime member of the United Church Women and the Women's Institute. Born 1870 to Robert Wilson and Sarah Humphrey, she married in 1889 in Eden Mills.
