John Waldron a 32 year old Negro orchestra leader from Guvelph suffered a head injury after a hit and run incident on No 7 Highway. He was found lying in a ditch and rushed to General Hospital where he underwent surgery. A truck driver found him and took him to Wellington Packers Limited before hospital care.

Fred Bonathan of Georgetown was seriously hurt with a broken arm and head injuries in a collision on Highway 7 near Sliver Creek.
