Organist Miss Penn Brown and the choir led celebratory music while a morning quartet performed. Evening services included readings from Isaiah and sermons on bearing life’s burdens. A joint Knox Church attendance and a generous bank offering for the Trustee Board marked the day.

Toronto pair charged with gambling in Halton
Harry Hathburne and Frank Cohen of Toronto appeared before Judge Munro in Milton court Saturday on three charges of operating a legally three card monte. Hathburne pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in the Ontario Reformatory concurrent with twelve months already served. Cohen pleaded not guilty and was dismissed as no evidence was offered.
