Five Day Season for Partridge Hunting Soon
With the close of the current season, hunters await the five day partridge season running from November s to 10. The law sets a five day limit and a fifteen bird keg limit for the season which covers both October and November. The season does not apply in townships designated as regulated game preserve areas in York Peel Halton Went worth Lincoln Welland Haldimand Brant Norfolk Oxford Elgin and Middlesex. Drunken Driver Sentenced Three Years for Manslaughter
Kenneth Selman, 26, was sentenced to three years in prison after a Supreme Court jury found him guilty of manslaughter in a hit-and-run case. The judgment noted his record as a lifesaver saved nearly a hundred lives in Port Credit and Regina. The court rejected a mercy-based plea to start the term from his arrest date of June 6.
