Four Year Old Hit By Car In Guelph
Andrew Blow a four year old from Guelph is reported in satisfactory condition after being struck by a car on Mill Street in front of the YMCA. He suffered a skull fracture injuries to head and limbs and was moved from Guelph General to Kitchener Waterloo hospital for neurosurgery. The driver James ay stated the child darted into traffic and the car braked and swerved to avoid the boy. Police indicate the vehicle was moving at a moderate speed through the town’s main business area.

The M. 2% Bronett Home and School bake sale sold out Saturday afternoon and raised about $75 for school equipment. Acton Man Spencer Roden Killed in Highway Crash
An Acton man identified as Spencer Roden age 7 was killed Monday when his car collided with a Wellington County truck loaded with asphalt on Highway 24 west of Evan. The truck driver Ross McCormick from Rockwood sustained minor injuries and the truck, which caught fire, was destroyed. Erin firefighters could not save Roden's vehicle. Roden was the son of Mr and Mrs Fred Roden and worked at Smith and Stone in Georgetown.
