Acton Citizens' Band to build hall and park area
A building permit was issued for a 40 by 60 foot band hall on Wallace Ave south of Warren Grove with a 1 acre parcel to become a park. Volunteers aim for a three month completion with material costs between 3000 and 4000 dollars and frequent practice rooms, auditorium space, and washrooms. The project plans outdoor concerts and broader community use, with Aldo Braids as chair and a long history since 90 years of continuous operation except for wartime.

Man Suffers Amputation After Tannery Accident
Roamnitase department foreman Kilan Poontt lost three fingers in a Monday incident at the tannery. He slipped while walking through the department and his hand was injured when he fell onto moving parts. A safety device on the equipment is designed to prevent such accidents. he was transported to Gitph General Memorial for treatment.
