Test of Transmitting TV From Buffalo To Toronto Via Milton
Harald C. Young of Bell Telephone Co reports on microwave relay experiments for TV from Buffalo to Toronto using 140-foot towers at Milton. He notes line of sight limits, land relay routes via Fonthill and Milton, and a frequency of 4000 megacycles. Privacy and beam direction enable targeted reception while atmospheric noise remains.
