Easter Evening Choir Program Inspires Manor Residents
A detailed report of a spring Easter event at Halton Manor featuring Mrs. B Alten and the Gorter choir with hymns Our Lord and King and The Lord is My Shepherd. Ava Smith gave speeches, solos by Lynn Nickola Dawn Buzzs and Cathy Bates, guitar by Danny Fellow, and a refined solo by Mrs. Gorter Open the Gates. A reception with fruit bread and tarts followed, and a carnations tribute was pinned on residents. The April birthday group celebrated with decorations, gifts, and a bountiful lunch. A later performance by Spring Fever from Georgetown Rotary Club entertained 30 Manor residents with a three-piece orchestra and grand chorus numbers.
