Licenced wrecking yard proposal referred to planning board
Laverne Warden of Williams Avenue Milton seeks a wrecking yard licence in Nassagaweva Township. Planning Board referral followed a council meeting where Warden outlined plans for a 12 acre site on the Guelph Line north of the MacDonald Cartier Freeway, including two buildings and a $820,000 to $30,000 home. He said the operation would import track parts from the USA and late model car parts, not a junk yard. Council recommended notifying neighboring property owners before a final decision.
