Sunroom project brightens days with garden views at home
The writer celebrates a south east sun room rebuilt after years of neglect. They describe new windows, screens, and a sunny outlook for writing and bird watching despite a winter ash pile, a noisy bumble bee, and starlings mimicking a boys whistle. They note April swallows returning and daylight saving time adjustments. The farm relies on grass, with no seeding this year, yet work remains from dawn to dusk as tractors hum nearby.

The piece suggests retiring heavy winter clothes and embracing light dresses. It highlights a black sheer dress with a tucked bodice and full-gathered skirt, notes less full styles suit larger figures, and mentions a rustling taffeta slip as a companion feature. Dark sheer fabrics are praised for hot days.
